My best friend got married and I am SO over the moon excited about it!! The day didn't turn out anything like any of us imagined it, but it was absolutely, 100% perfect. As you know, COVID-19 has shifted plans and dreams for so many people, specifically couples planning their wedding day. Meghan and Seth fell into this group and had to make the decision to postpone their wedding that had been planned for the end of May. Even though I typically attend multiple weddings a month (I have the best job EVER!), I've never been a bridesmaid before. I was so, so, SO excited to kick off my wedding season by being a bridesmaid and standing next to one of my best friends as she married the love of her life, but plans change. Even though Meghan and Seth decided to postpone their big day to August, they decided that they didn't want to wait another minute to be married. The two decided to gather with just their immediate families and exchange vows together in their church and I begged Meghan to let me come and document such a special day for them. Luckily, she said yes and I was able to capture the fresh bliss of this perfect couple as they said I do.
The ceremony was casual, but so beautiful. They were able to stream it on YouTube and Facebook live for the rest of their friends and family and it was truly an honor to be there. I can't describe the feeling of watching someone so close to me get married other than incredible. I've known Meghan for seven years now and watching the way that Seth brings out her absolute best is just wonderful. I couldn't imagine a better partner for either of them and I know that their marriage together will be their best and biggest adventure. I am so happy that they were able to experience such an intimate ceremony and that they also get to look forward to celebrating with a second ceremony and big party here in a few months! I am SO excited for August to get here because these two deserve nothing but the best.
After the ceremony we were lucky enough to find a few bushes and gorgeous tree ready for spring right outside the church. We were able to take a few minutes to take couples portraits of the two of them together and my heart literally melts just looking at these. The happiness & laughter they share is so special and I LOVE that Meghan was kind enough to let me tag along on such a special day. After finishing up with photos the two headed to get takeout before moving Meghan into their new home together. SO special!!
Meghan & Seth, thank you so much for letting me come along and capture such a special day for you two. I am so excited to stand by your side in August & watch as you renew your vows surrounded by friends & family near and far. I love you both and congratulations again!!
