I am so excited to finally share Kristen & Andrew’s wedding day with you! Because of COVID they postponed their originally scheduled November 2020 wedding date to this October and I am SO happy that they were finally able to get married! They’ve been together for almost ten years and I couldn’t have imagined a better day for them to come together as husband and wife!
I started my day off by meeting Kristen & her bride tribe at the CUTEST little AirBnb in Cincinnati. Kristen and her bridesmaids were just finishing up with hair and makeup and we took a few photos of them in their pajamas before it was time for everyone to get dressed. Kristen’s mom helped her get her dress on (and oh my, what a STUNNING dress it was!) before Kristen had her first look with her bridesmaids (such a sweet moment!) After everyone was dressed and ready to go, we headed off to Ault Park to meet Andrew and his groomsmen!
Before meeting us at the park, my incredible second shooter Brooke met Andrew & his groomsmen at The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum. She captured the final moments of Andrew getting ready before heading to the park and taking a few fun group photos before we got there!
Once we all arrived at Ault Park, it was time for Kristen & Andrew to have their first look. This spot was so incredibly beautiful and watching as Andrew saw his bride-to-be for the first time was so, so sweet. Once they shared their moment, it was time to celebrate & pop some champagne! I absolutely LOVE taking champagne popping photos, they add such a fun addition to a wedding album and help make even more memories. The sweet smell of champagne definitely kept the bees around us for the afternoon, but these photos were worth it! Kristen also had her first look with her dad while we were here and after they shared a moment we took group shots with the entire bridal party! We had such a beautiful day and I love how these photos turned out!
Once we were done with photos, we headed to The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum for Kristen & Andrew’s ceremony & reception. This was the first time I had been to this venue and I absolutely loved how moody the lighting was during the ceremony. Kristen and Andrew wrote their own vows (so sweet!) and I still can’t get over the way that they look at each other.
After their ceremony, we took a few family photos outside of The Carnegie Center (but those are for Kristen & Andrew to share!) before heading out to explore the cute little urban area surrounding us. I absolutely love these photos and am so happy that Kristen & Andrew have wedding photos with backgrounds from the best of both worlds. The greenery at Ault Park mixed with this fun urban vibe create such different photos that they can cherish for years to come!
After entering the reception, we had an awesome dinner before kicking off the rest of the evening’s activities! There were speeches, the cake was cut, Kristen & Andrew shared their first dance as husband and wife, Kristen shared a dance with her dad, Andrew shared a dance with his grandma, the photo booth was a HUGE hit, the bouquet was tossed, and everyone danced the night away! Such a fun ending to an incredible day! Kristen and Andrew, thank you SO much for trusting me with capturing such a special day for you two! Congratulations again on finally being able to get married! You guys deserve nothing but the very best!!
