Brittany + Brian: Wedding Day

Brittany & Brian are MARRIED!!! After eight years together, they finally tied the knot on October 10th and I couldn't imagine a better way to spend one of the best wedding dates of the year! These two were SO much fun to work with and I'm so excited to finally share more photos with you from their big day!

I started my morning off by meeting Brittany & her bride tribe at her aunt's house to document a few of the many fun moments they had while getting ready. All of Brittany's bridesmaids had matching robes (personalized with their names!), slippers, and cute cups to hold their drinks of choice! Once everyone was dressed and ready, Brittany came out in her (gorgeous!) dress for a first look with her bridesmaids, flower girl, and mom.

While I was hanging out with Brittany & her girls, my second shooter Briana spent her morning hanging out with Brian & his guys. They got ready at a hotel in Newport and then took photos on the Purple People Bridge. I always love going through photos and seeing what the guys did the morning of a wedding and it looks like they LOVED going around and taking group photos! These were cracking me up!

After everyone was ready, we met down on the Purple People Bridge for Brittany & Brian's first look . . . well, we had one other first look to do first, just because Brian HATES clowns.

After Brittany & Brian had a moment together, we were off to the park for bridal party & couples portraits! These two had the BEST bridal party and they were SO much fun to work with! George Rogers Clark Park was filled with fall colors and we had a gorgeous view of the city skyline since we had such a cloudy day. We actually took a few photos of Brittany & Brian in the same spot that Brian PROPOSED back in March of 2019! How sweet! I actually met Brittany & Brian while photographing my very first wedding a few years ago, and a few hours after she got engaged, Brittany messaged me to share the good news with me and let me know that she wanted me to photograph her wedding day as well! I melted. Before she even announced their engagement to friends and family, she knew that she wanted me to document her big day. I seriously have the BEST job ever and get to work with the BEST people! I'm so glad that we got such a dreamy day for their wedding!!

After finishing up with all the formal photos at the park, we headed to Receptions in Erlanger so that Brittany and Brian could finally get married and celebrate!! They decorated their ceremony space with fall leaves and pumpkins and their navy & maroon colors went together perfectly. After the ceremony we took a few family photos (but those are for Brittany & Brian to share!) before kicking off the party! They had speeches, a (nice!) cake cutting, first dances (Brittany shared one of her first dances with her grandpa, how sweet!), and a hilarious garter retrieval & toss.

Brittany & Brian, thank you so much for trusting me to capture such a big and important day for you! I'm so glad that your day was everything you dreamed of and I hope these photos always bring you back to all of your happy memories the day gave you! Congratulations, again! On your new marriage AND your new house! I'm SO excited for you guys!
